Application Process Steps
Initial Visa (90 days at a consulate or embassy)
Apply from outside Thailand. Show equivalent of 800,000 THB in an overseas bank account. You receive a 90-day entry visa (Non-O) to be extended after entering Thailand.
Extension in Thailand (1-year extension)
After arriving, apply for a one-year extension at Thai Immigration. Must open a Thai bank account with 800,000 THB. Provide a rental agreement. Processed at local immigration.
